Rebeca Veselka
Born and raised in West London, Rebecca Veselka has been designing and growing gardens for 20 years. She trained in Design at Central St Martins School of Art and in Horticulture at the RHS, Capel Manor.
After completing her training Rebecca spent the first four years of her career working in London on private gardens as well as large stately homes, honing her skills in Classic English Garden Design.
In 2000 she moved to New York where she spent the next 13 years creating small and large high-end gardens, roof terraces and public spaces. Her clients there included a handful of West Village celebrities as well as the chic Soho House Hotel New York. Her work has been featured in multiple periodicals including the New York Times, The All New House Beautiful, Veranda Magazine and two books by Michele Osbourne; Gardens in the Sky and Lighting Gardens.
While working in New York she specialized in bringing bleak concrete spaces to life with her designs and planting. She takes her inspiration from many places and her background in theatre and love of colour and form are reflected in her gardens.
Recently returned home, Rebecca is again working on private gardens in West London as well as larger gardens in Greece and France. She brings a contemporary edge to her designs influenced by the natural and prairie planting aesthetic popular in America.
